It would be of great help if you could send us a recording of the problem. We suggest using the Loom application to make this recording. This additional step will allow us to visualize the error you are experiencing and will speed up the solution process.
If you’re unsure how to use Loom to record your screen, you can use this tutorial for guidance:
Before proceeding, make sure you don’t have the WhatsApp app installed on your computer, as it is incompatible with our extension. You should only be using WhatsApp Web.
Once you’ve confirmed that it’s not installed, start recording your screen (make sure to record the entire desktop so that we can see how you interact with the extension). After recording, review the video to ensure the extension is captured—if not, it won’t be useful to us.
The steps you should follow are:
- Confirm that your number appears in the top right corner with a green checkmark.
- Then import your contacts via a CSV file or manually, ensuring that the country prefix is included before the number (you can test with 5 contacts). Attach the file, add the message text, and click «send» so we can observe the entire process.
- Once this is done, go to the «History» tab so we can see what the extension has logged.
- To finish the recording, go to the «User» tab and check the preferences and advanced settings.
After finishing, you’ll get a link. Please review it yourself to confirm the entire process was recorded, and then send it to support@what-sender.com, so we can analyze the issue and provide you with a solution.
