Remove the text «responde STOP» from my messages

This tutorial will help you if, when sending messages with WhatSender, text similar to this is automatically added at the end of your message: “Si esto no es relevante responde STOP y no volveremos a escribirte.”

This is not an error. It is a WhatSender feature called the Unsubscribe option.

Why does this text appear?

The Unsubscribe option is automatically enabled when you use some anti-blocking modes, such as Conservative or Balanced.

This feature adds a message at the end of your sends so contacts can let you know if they no longer want to receive communications from you.

For example, if a person replies STOP, it means they do not want to continue receiving your messages. In that case, we recommend removing that contact from your database and not including them in future sends.

This helps you keep a cleaner contact database, avoid writing to people who are not interested, and reduce annoyance, reports, or blocks.

How to remove the “reply STOP” text from your messages

If you do not want to use this feature, you can easily disable it.

To do this:

  • Open WhatSender.
  • Go to the Anti-blocking settings.
  • Select the mode you are using, for example Conservative or Balanced.
  • Find the Unsubscribe option.
  • Uncheck that option.

After disabling it, the unsubscribe text will no longer be automatically added at the end of your messages.

Can I edit the unsubscribe text?

Yes. If you want to use the feature but prefer to change the text, you can edit it.

To do this, click Edit next to the unsubscribe option and modify the message according to your needs.

We recommend keeping the text clear, so the contact understands that they can ask to stop receiving messages.

For example:

“If you do not want to receive more information, reply STOP.”

When should you use this feature?

We recommend keeping the unsubscribe option active if you send messages to large databases or to contacts who may not be expecting your communication.

This feature can help you:

  • Identify contacts who do not want to receive more messages.
  • Clean your database.
  • Reduce annoyance for your contacts.
  • Lower the risk of blocks or reports.

Do you want to learn more about the anti-blocking feature?

The unsubscribe option is part of WhatSender’s anti-blocking tools.
